Hello hello! I’ll forever be drooling over my sweet friend’s Destination Wedding at the romantic, Italy-inspired Molto Bella Wedding Venue in Louisiana. Payton and Gannon made their appearance in front of my camera for the first time in 2020. From giveaway winners to documenting their fall engagement photos and now their wedding, it’s truly a full-circle moment! Go ahead and grab a coffee, and join me as we dive into their destination wedding idea.
Being a destination wedding photographer, I have been able to visit many beautiful venues in Texas, Oregon, and Georgia. Molto Bella Weddings & Event Venue is at the top of my list for old money vibes. It brought all the Italy feels without leaving the states! This north Louisiana venue is a hidden gem for any couples looking to elope or have a small wedding. Its lush gardens and romantic details provided the ideal backdrop for Payton and Gannon’s wedding day. If you’re planning a wedding at Molto Bella Weddings & Event Venue, incorporate simple elements that add to its organic atmosphere. Think Tuscany-inspired wedding decor and classic, timeless wedding florals.
On the topic of wedding details, Payton chose to include some family heirlooms in her details box. The bride and groom’s grandmother’s rings were tied onto her white wedding bouquet. In addition, the lace around her bouquet was from the groom’s great-grandmother’s wedding dress. Talk about family love and legacy woven right into the day! Gannon also decided to gift his bride a beautiful infinity necklace on the morning of their wedding. Cue all the “awes”!
The couple chose not to do a first look on their wedding day but rather a first touch. Most engaged couples who are wedding planning may ask “What are the benefits of a first look?”. By doing a first look, you are able to complete 90% of your photos before the ceremony. This means you have more time to enjoy cocktail hour or mingle with your guests. Although they didn’t do a first look, we were still able to get the majority of their photos done before the ceremony due to my awesome family photos workflow. (Ask me about it in your inquiry hehe!)
Payton and Gannon told me how excited they were to finally be married after all of the years of waiting. They wanted to remember all of their loved ones who have stood by them and celebrated them all of these years. To say these relatives were excited is an understatement. Their wedding ceremony was so romantic and intentional. They gave their guests “The Newlywed Post”, a trending wedding newspaper ceremony favor.
Overall, the entire wedding was an absolute hit! From the Tuscany destination wedding vibes to the intentional details of the day, I shed a few tears and couldn’t help but celebrate with their loved ones. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful in itself, but don’t fear – I would love to partner with you during this planning season to take a few items off of your plate!
