Jessica and Corey’s wedding was a perfect example of why the Drey Hotel is such an ideal venue! Their day began with getting ready in separate parts of the hotel, each filled with luxury and class! Jessica prepared for the big day in a two-story loft surrounded by her bridesmaids, family, and her beloved chocolate lab, Gucci! Thanks to the talented team at Grand Slam Glam, Jessica looked radiant. From the cutest updo to a classic, growing bridal look, her hair and makeup perfectly complimented her bridal gown from Stardust Bridal Salon.

Gift Exchange – Wedding Day Gifts for Your Bride and Future Wife

Jessica and Corey exchanged wedding gifts before the ceremony, setting an intimate feel for the day. Corey surprised Jessica with two journals – one to document their engagement and another to document their anniversaries to come – and a sparkling ring to pair with her bridal look. Jessica’s mom helped her into her stunning dress while Gucci watched from the bed, soaking in the sweet moment of her owner getting ready for the best day of her life.

First Looks – Dallas Wedding Venue

Jessica had a lineup of five emotional first looks: her bridesmaids, her dad, Gucci, Corey, and even the groomsmen. One of the highlights was her surprise of “icing” the groomsmen — adding even more laughter to a fun day. During her first look with Corey, they shared personal vows and a prayer, a moment that brought tears and smiles.

Glen Event Lawn Ceremony – Drey Hotel Wedding Venue

Glen Event Lawn, an outdoor ceremony space at the Drey Hotel, was the perfect location for Jessica and Corey’s wedding ceremony. Rows of elegant chairs lined the aisle, waiting for Jessica’s jaw-dropping appearance. Mickey’s Florist enhanced the aisle with elegant white rose petals and the ceremony altar with colorful arrangements.

Exchanging their vows in front of their family, friends, and, of course, Gucci, who sat proudly by their side, Jessica and Corey’s ceremony was one for the books. As they shared their first kiss, their wedding party celebrated by tossing rose petals making the moment that more special!

Wedding Reception in the Great Hall Ballroom

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned to the Great Hall Patio and Ballroom for cocktail hour. With the expert coordination of Kari, a DFW Wedding Planner at Southern Bash Events, the entire day flowed effortlessly. From their gift exchange to the heartfelt toasts during the reception, every moment was thoughtfully planned and brought to life. Even the sweet treats provided by Butterfly Cakery and Love at First Cookie are an example of how perfectly the day was planned!

Sparkler Exit at the Drey Hotel – Reception Venue

Before the night ended, Jessica and Corey shared a private last dance under the twinkling lights on the Grand Hall Patio with the Drey Hotel’s stunning lofts as their backdrop. This sweet moment brought the entire day full circle. They ended the evening with a sparkler exit outside of the hotel, leaving in Corey’s F-150, with all of their guests sending them off!
