The engagement session of my dreams!!!! Meet the (now) Kehlers! These two eloped just a week after our session, and I couldn’t be more happy for them! Maryn is a fellow film lover, and Griffin was down for anything Maryn threw at him during their session! Just wait until the end! 😉 Check out the engagement photo ideas below!
It’s normal to be nervous at the beginning of our session, so don’t worry! I know exactly how to get you two loosened up and ready to focus on one another; danceeee partyyyyy! I should probably advise all of my couples to learn a *little* dance before meeting with me! Even if it’s a little shimmy and spin, that works perfectly for the goal I’m trying to achieve; getting you two connected more than when you arrived!!!
If we haven’t met yet, I’d love to document your engagement session in Texas & beyond!
I love Lake Tawakoni State Park for its diversity when it comes to East Texas Engagement Locations. Most of my couples typically want a field or a lake as the background in their couples photos; this location offers both and more! Lake Tawakoni State Park is just 50 miles east of Dallas making it a great middle point for when I need to meet my couples halfway, typically in between Tyler and Dallas! With 376 acres of forest ready to explore and over 5 miles of lakeshore, you can turn your unique engagement session into a date night at the state park! There are so many activities to do at the park such as hiking, boating, camping, mountain biking, swimming, and of course, having me document your fun engagement photos at golden hour! 😉
Around the time our session was about it end, Maryn asked Griffin if he wanted to run into the water with her… I was sooo hoping she would ask!!! Griffin, being the best fiance, committed to running into the lake with his girl (with a little hesitancy), but he was totally down for the photo op! The two joined hands and started to trek through the water until their legs were fully submerged! I loved standing back to watch this moment for them; I know that they will always remember this moment from their engagement session.
I adore couples who are down for anything! Bring all of your creative ideas to our shoot!!! Maryn & Griffin did just that, and I’m so happy that I was able to document their fall mini session turned engagement photos!
