Jessica & Corey’s Surprise Proposal at White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas.

OH MY GOODNESS, you guys! This Lakeside Surprise Proposal and Engagement Photos in Dallas, Texas was the sweetest! Corey reached out to me mid-April with plans to pop the big question at White Rock Lake once they arrived after their fun dinner plans. He was referred to me by a current bride & groom of mine; shoutout to Jacob and Carly! I walked Corey through my onboarding process, set up our initial consult call, and got every detail worked out. On the day of the shoot, my husband and I drove to Dallas and sat right next to the dock Corey had chosen. After Corey proposed, he mentioned that he was super nervous and could hardly eat at dinner, and Jessica had NO IDEA that she was about to get engaged!

Corey and Jessica have known each other for almost 4 years! They love to be outdoors, especially fishing, and spending time with their friends and family! After Corey got on one knee, Jessica said YES, and the two celebrated with their closest family! Jessica’s sister, Allie, flew in from out of state to surprise her! She even brought Corey and Jessica’s pup, Gucci!😭 Everyone gave hugs and celebrated with champagne. Once blue hour started, I grabbed my flash and began their candid engagement photos! These two connected instantly with all of their excitement, and they even included Gucci is most of their photos! My favorite!✨

After our session was over, the newly engaged couple spent a few minutes soaking in the moment alone! I was SO excited to edit their gallery over the weekend! Once they sat down to view their photos, I received this text from Corey:

“You did a fantastic job! 🙂 We couldn’t be happier with the pictures. Thank you for being so easy to work with and all the planning you did that went into this proposal. You made it easier for me. Jessica hasn’t stopped talking about the photos or looking at them!”

I am OVERJOYED when I receive these words! I’m so excited for their wedding day!💃🏼
